Looking at circumstances of life, pleasant and adverse, and looking at people, agreeable and strange, I ask, 'Given all this, what can one do to be happy?' I observe, we don't have to spend all our lives tussling with problems, if we can elevate ourselves to a plane of thought, where these problems don't apply. The posts here are an attempt to help transcend ourselves to that plane.

People have a tendency to think that they have done a noble act by helping someone in distress.
Actually, we are just helping ourselves. We help someone because we derive great joy and fulfillment in doing so. We can't help but do it. It would be a burden to not do so.
